310 Stainless Steel Pipe
Grade 310 Stainless Steel Pipe is the combination of greater temperature properties along with weldability and ductility and is developed for high-temperature service. It is designed especially for the high temperatures services. It is resisting oxidation at continuous service temperature at 1150 Deg C provided and reducing sulphur gas isn’t present. It is used for an intermittent service at the temperature at 1040 Deg C.
Grade 310S Stainless Steel Pipe is used when the applications atmosphere involves moist corrodent at the temperature ranging lower than that is considered normally high-temperature service. This grade low carbon content reduces high-temperature strength as compared to 310 Stainless Steel Pipe.
Type 310/310S Stainless Steel is covered by the following specifications:ASTM A 167, ASTM A240.
The 310 Stainless Steel Pipe can also come in round, square, rectangular and hydraulic forms. The pipes can be seamless, welded, electric fusion welded and electric resistance welded. The making procedures differ for each of them.Please contact us for more information on products and the pricing.
Fabrication:
Commonly used in the heat treatment and process industries due to high temperature and corrosive environments
Often fabricated into complex structures
Roller-forms, stamps and draws readily
Because 310 work hardens, severe forming operations should be followed by an anneal
Weldability:
Austenitic stainless steel is generally considered to be weldable
Generally considered to have weldability equivalent to 304 and 304L
Special consideration is needed to compensate for a higher coefficient of thermal expansion to avoid warping and distortion
