Classification and uses of stainless steel tees

Common pipeline-connecting tools include elbows, flanges, tees, etc. They play the role of connectors in pipelines. Tee is a common connecting element in the pipeline system. There are two production methods: hydraulic bulging and hot pressing. According to the requirements of the use occasion, there are several materials such as stainless steel and plastic.

Stainless steel tees are divided into equal diameters, different diameters, and high pressure. Reducing diameter refers to the different diameters of three connecting pipes, usually two main pipes and one branch pipe. During the use of the reducer, due to the change in the diameter of the pipe, the flow rate of the medium inside also changes. The stainless steel tee is used, the inner wall is smooth, and it is acid and alkali-resistant and anti-corrosion. It can also prevent collision and static electricity caused by changes in the flow rate of the medium.

The stainless steel tee is a pipe fitting used at pipe branches. For the use of seamless pipes to manufacture tees, the currently commonly used processes are hydraulic bulging and hot press forming. Hydraulic bulging of stainless steel tees is a forming process that expands branch pipes through the axial compensation of metal materials. The process is to use a special hydraulic press to inject liquid into the tube blank with the same diameter as the tee and squeeze the tube blank through the synchronous centering movement of the two horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic press. The volume of the tube blank becomes smaller after being squeezed, and the inside of the tube blank becomes smaller. The pressure of the liquid increases as the volume of the tube becomes smaller. When the pressure required for the expansion of the stainless steel tee branch is reached, the metal material flows along the inner cavity of the mold under the dual action of the liquid pressure in the side cylinder and the tube and expands the branch.

Self-cleaning structure of the sealing surface of stainless steel three-way ball valve. Stainless steel tees are widely used in the construction and maintenance of projects in petrochemical, oil and natural gas, liquefied gas, fertilizer, power plants, nuclear power, shipbuilding, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, food hygiene, urban construction, and other industries. In industry, the pressure requirements for this kind of pipe fittings are relatively high, and the pressure can reach 600 kilograms. In daily life, the pressure of water pipes is relatively low, generally 16 kilograms.
