Process characteristics of spiral steel pipe

Spiral steel pipes are mainly used in water supply engineering, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, electric power industry, agricultural irrigation, and urban construction. Main technological characteristics of spiral steel pipe:

2. Adopting advanced double-sided submerged arc welding technology, welding can be realized in the best position, and it is not easy to have defects such as wrong edge, welding deviation, and incomplete penetration, and it is easy to control the welding quality.

3. Perform 100% quality inspection on steel pipes, so that the entire process of steel pipe production is under effective inspection and monitoring, effectively ensuring product quality.

4. All equipment of the entire production line has the function of networking with the computer data acquisition system, realizing instant data transmission, and the central control room will control the technical parameters in the production process.

5. The raw materials are strip steel coils, welding wire, and flux. Strict physical and chemical tests are required before investment.

6. Butt joint of strip steel head and tail, adopt single wire or double wire submerged arc welding, after coiling into steel pipe, adopt automatic submerged arc welding repair welding.

7. Before forming, the strip undergoes leveling, edge trimming, edge planing, surface cleaning and conveying, and pre-bending treatment.

8. The electric contact pressure gauge is used to control the pressure of the cylinders on both sides of the conveyor to ensure the smooth transportation of the strip.

9. Adopt external control or internal control roll forming.

10. The welding seam gap control device is used to ensure that the welding seam gap meets the welding requirements, and the pipe diameter, the amount of misalignment, and the welding seam gap are strictly controlled.

11. Both internal welding and external welding adopt American Lincoln electric welding machine for single-wire or double-wire submerged arc welding, to obtain stable welding quality.
