Yeou Yih Steel Co., Ltd., a main hot-rolled stainless steel plate manufacturer in Taiwan, reported that its revenue was NT$387 million in June, a month-on-month increase of 69.5% and a year-on-year hike of 24.1%, hitting a new high for a single month in recent years.
Yeou Yih said that the increase in revenue was due to a significant year-on-year increase in sales volume and price of steel products in June.
The revenue in the first six months amounted to around NT$1.7 billion, rising by nearly 55% compared to the same period last year.
The company’s net profit after tax in the first quarter was NT$37.02 million, a year-on-year surge of 460%.
